Groot Constantia Wine Estate

The oldest producing wine farm in South Africa and continues to produce some of the finest wine year after year. A mere five minutes’ drive from The Last Word Constantia it is the perfect spot for a spontaneous afternoon for wine tasting. They produce an award-winning wine to please every palate. Enjoy a fresh and cheerful Blanc de Noir or a charmingly complex Chardonnay amongst their spectacular vineyards and oak trees. Discover a bold Shiraz or their seductive Grand Constance, with three wine-tasting venues on the estate there is something for everyone.

Constantia Glen

Perfectly located below Constantia Nek, just moments from the lush gardens of our hotel. They are a picturesque boutique wine estate known for their ultra-premium, cool climate wines. Their delicious breakfast and lunch menus offer an assortment of Flammkuchen and summer salads, traded for hearty soups in the winter. The cheese and charcuterie platters are very popular and pair seamlessly with their selection of award winning wines.

Silvermist

A family-owned Organic Wine Estate positioned on the upper most slopes of of the Constantia Wine Route. The transformation to Wine Estate was inspired by Gregory Brink Louw who has worked tirelessly over 18 years to create the only Organically Certified Wine Estate in the Constantia Valley.

Starting in 1685 and described as one of the world’s most gorgeous wine estates, Klein Constantia is set amongst ancient trees on the upper slopes of the valley, with views across False Bay. An impeccable location for cool climate wines, Klein Constantia produces some of South Africa’s top wines, including one of the world’s best natural sweet wines, Vin de Constance.

Beau Constantia

A boutique wine farm located at the top of Constantia Nek overlooking False Bay. Their vines are planted to an elevation of 350 metres above sea-level on some of the steepest agricultural slopes in the Cape. Being at the top of the valley they have some of the most incredible views on a clear day, giving your wine tasting experience that extra special touch.
